Sun Occulter began in Bozeman, Montana in 2018 as an exorcism of emotional neglect and self-criticism. In form and content, influences include Clan of Xymox, Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, The Chameleons, Drab Majesty, and Boy Harsher.
