About Sun Occulter
Sun Occulter began in Bozeman, Montana in 2018 and self-describes as darkwave [1].

On darkwave:
It is said that it was John Peel to coin the term "darkwave" when he was listening to our music. Could this be true? It might very well be.

My first association with the term darkwave is with the eighties-era Clan of Xymox. To me, it elicits slower, introspective songs with themes of angst and includes myriad instruments such as guitar, bass, synthesizers, drum machines, etc. That said, I draw from many influences, too :) ↑ Back to top
